I decided to record every smile and cry of my seven month old baby and turn it into a data visualisation. For the design I was inspired by a baby mobile. Each string on the mobile is an hour and each bead is a record. After designing the visualisation, I decided to have fun with it and made it interactive with the help of AI. You can hover over the beads and cute baby thoughts will pop up. You can also click on the icons in the legend which will highlight the beads from that category.

Due to the size of the visualisation, it only works well on desktop and not on mobile. If you’re on mobile, hold it sideways and zoom in a little bit.
